Full Description
A former waiting room at Kirton Railway Station. The station was on part of the Lincolnshire Loop line, which was constructed by the Great Northern Railway in October 1848. The building was constructed of timber laid on brick piers. The building was extant in 1966, when it was used as a rest room and canteen for a nearby coal merchants business, but was demolished at some point before the Boston to Algarkirk Diversion road was constructed in 1991. {1}
