Welton le Wold war memorial stands in the churchyard of St Martin's Church. The 1920 memorial is a rough-hewn Ionian cross on a tapering plinth, carved by Messrs Mawer Bros of Louth. The soldiers who fell during the First World War and the Second World War are commemorated here. {1} Welton le Wold War Memorial is located in the churchyard of the church of St Martin and was unveiled on 29 August 1920, commemorating 6 local servicemen who died during the First World War. The names of the two men who died in the Second World War were added at a later date. It is of rough hewn granite with a square base, above which rises a tapering plinth.
