Full Description
The churchyard at the Church of St John the Baptist is depicted on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. It likely dates to at least the 14th century, when the church it served was built. This original church was largely taken down and rebuilt, or at least extensively altered, in about 1760 (see PRN 52157). {1}
