Full Description
The former station house at Alford Railway Station is a large Great Northern Railways style building, constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The structure is comprised of a central booking hall with two former, two-storey houses at each end. The station opened in 1848, and closed 1970. The structure now forms part of a builders merchants complex. {1}
