Description

An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the installation of a new manhole at Central Park, Norfolk Street, Boston. A likely 16th century boundary ditch was identified, from which a small assemblage of tile, animal bone and pottery of early post-medieval date was recovered, along with a redeposited sherd of 13th to 14th cenutry medieval pottery. {1}{2}
