Full Description

A redeposited sherd of medieval pottery was recovered in May 2009, from the primary fill of a likely 16th century boundary ditch, excavated during the monitoring of groundworks for a new manhole on Norfolk Street, Boston. The sherd was a fragment of Lincoln Glazed ware and appeared to have been burnt post-breakage. {1}{2}
