Description

An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Allen Archaeological Associates in May 2009, in advance of a proposed residential development on land off Station Road, Gedney Hill, Lincolnshire. Three trenches were excavated, each measuring 15m by 1.6m. Medieval and post medieval features were located, together with evidence of mid 15th to 16th century pottery production.
