Description
A trial trench evaluation was carried out by Archaeological Project Services in February 2009, on land off the northeast side of Church Road, Old Leake, Lincolnshire. Two trenches were excavated, each measuring 10m long by 1.6m wide. The evaluation revealed features, including pits and ditches, ranging in date between possibly Saxo-Norman and modern. {1}{2}
