Description

An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Allen Archaeological Associates in January 2009, on land off Meadow Lane, North Hykeham, Lincolnshire. The site lay to the southwest of Meadow Lane, covering an area of 0.145ha. Two trenches were excavated, each 20m long by 1.6m wide. Approximately 30 graves were identified, all apparently associated with the Chapel of St Leonard.
