Full Description

PRN 65680 A trial trench evaluation carried out in January 2009, on the putative site of the medieval chapel of St Leonard, identified two undated features. A ditch, aligned southeast to northwest and interpreted as a possible boundary feature, lay at the southern end of the trenched area, while a pit or possible ditch terminal was located further to the northwest. Both features were cut into soils associated with the probable graveyard of the chapel of St Leonard (see PRN 61166). {1}{2}
