Description

An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Pre-Construct Archaeology in February 2007, during the installation of a section of the mains waterpipe between the villages of Fordington and Skendleby, Lincolnshire. The section of waterpipe observed during the watching brief ran southwest from Lodge Farm to the line of a small stream at Bath Holt. Topsoil was removed from a 9m wide easement, before the excavation of a 1m wide by approximately 1.5m trench to receive the pipe. {1}{2}
