Description

Excavation of areas F to H was carried out in several sessions alongside watching briefs. Features of prehistoric, Roman and medieval date were encountered. The Roman features include a corner of an enclosed settlement of 2nd-3rd century date. (The results of the excavation and the watching brief are dealt with together in the report.) {1}{2}
