Full Description

PRN 37010 Several linear ditches, thought to form part of a prehistoric field system, were uncovered during excavation and a watching brief at the quarry. It is thought that these features may be associated with a Bronze Age field system and settlement uncovered to the north. A pit of possible prehistoric date was also encountered. {1}{2}
