Description

A watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with drainage improvements. A sequence of undated, late Iron Age/Romano-British and post medieval deposits were seen including a buried soil containing briquetage and late Iron Age/Romano-British pottery, the profile of a possible Romano-British canal and various undated ditches and creeks. {1}{2}
