Summary
Undated ditches, Long Drove, Rippingale
Type and Period (1)
- DITCH (Unknown date)
Protected Status/Designation
- None recorded
Full Description
PRN 36910
Several undated ditches were uncovered during a watching brief. The alignments of the ditches did not respect the current field boundaries and it is suggested that the ditches may therefore be of some antiquity, possibly representing a Romano-British field system. Some of the ditches also correspond with cropmark features. {1}{2}
