Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the installation of a new church organ in the Lady Chapel of St John the Baptist's Church, Scampton. Deposits related to the restoration of the church in 1876 were observed, although these remains were not damaged due to the shallow nature of the work taking place. {1}
