Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on land off Scothern Lane, Dunholme, to investigate archaeological remains that were at threat fro a residential development. The investigation followed two evaluations which had identified previously unknown early-middle and later Sxaon remains, as well as aspects of the medieval manor of Dunholme and (probably) the Bishop's Grange. {1} {2}
