Description

Archaeological evaluation (trenching) was undertaken during the excavation of a new soke dyke on land at Branston Island, Branston and Mere. A narrow trench was opened which ran the entire length of the new drain (c.2000m), which was separated from the existing dyke by about 2m {1] {2}
