Description
Trial trenching was carried out as part of the Fenland Management Project. Four trenches were excavated; three were placed over geophysical anomalies and one, measuring 10m by 15m, over a finds scatter. A 30m by 2m inspection trench extended westwards from this latter trench. A total of 825m squared was investigated.{1}
