Description
Trial trenching was carried out in order to determine the archaeological resource affected by proposed development. Two trenches were placed in positions which were largely dictated by the presence of standing buildings, buried services and a brick cistern, resulting in one trench lying close to the street frontage with the other placed behind it.{1}
