Description
A single trial trench was excavated to inform proposed residential development on land at Glebe Paddock, Grimoldby. Two post-medieval gullies were recorded, along with a pit, from which two sherds of 12th century medieval pottery were recovered. The earthwork remains of a probable Second World War gun emplacement was also noted, to the immediate east of the trench. {1}{2}
