Description

A one month long excavation of part of a recently ploughed field, known as Tinker's Urn, in 1966, produced evidence for a small inhumation/cremation cemetery of mid fifth to early sixth century. The excavations were directed by Peter Mayes and Malcolm Dean. {1}
