A site visit was conducted to inform the proposed construction of a new agricultural building on land off Middlemarsh Lane, Ashington End. Previously extant earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow on the site were discovered to have been recently ploughed flat, and an intended earthwork survey could not therefore be undertaken. Recently surveyed lidar data was instead analysed to provide a detailed record of the former earthworks here. {1}{2}
