Description
An open area of strip, map, sample excavation was undertaken in June and July 2018 following the results of an earlier trial trenching scheme at High Barn Farm, Partney Road. The open excavation confirmed the findings of the trial trenching, with a series of Iron Age ditches and a probable Roman enclosure system with settlement. Remains associated with the farm were also recorded {1}{2}
