Description

Seven trial trenches were excavated on land off Peterborough Road, Langtoft, to inform a proposed residential development. Pits and ditches representing an Iron Age/Romano-British settlement were encountered in the north of the site, while a flanking ditch for a Medieval or post-Medieval trackway was encountered further south. {1}
