Description
Following a geophysical survey (ELI14299) a scheme of trial trenching was undertaken in September 2019 as part of pre-planning for a residential development. The results of the trenching reflected the geophysics, with two enclosure systems dated to the Late Iron Age and Roman periods recorded, with a small quantity of Bronze Age remains, and extensive medieval furrows also identified. {1}{2}
