Description

A magnetometry geophysical survey was undertaken by APS in September 2014 as part of the planning process for a solar farm at Pasture Farm, Great Gonerby. The survey recorded evidence for at least nine enclosures, two trackways and additional associated features interpreted as a possible Roman agricultural settlement. Later excavations (ELI14192, ELI14193) largely corroborated this. Furrows were also recorded on an appoximate northwest to southeast orientation. {1}{2}
