Description
A historic building survey was undertaken prior to the demolition of the late 19th century school and schoolmaster's house at Spalding Common. The surveyed school building was in L-shape plan form, with a large school room on each arm and an office for the teacher at the junction of the two. The schoolmaster's house was a small two storey building. Both were constructed in red brick with ashlar quoins and window surrounds, under pitched gabled slate roofs. {1}{2}
