Description
A site visit was undertaken to assess some of the structures at the former Caistor Hospital site for listing, in response to plans for possible redevelopment of the site. The original structures on this site formed the Caistor House of Industry, which was re-organised in 1836 as the Caistor Union Workhouse, and later converted to a hospital in 1937. {1}
