Description

Ten trial trenches were excavated to inform the proposed construction of a new agricultural reservoir on land north of Nocton Wood House. The trenching confirmed the presence of a former field boundary of post-medieval date, along with linear ditches thought to represent the remains of a probable medieval hollow way, all located at the eastern edge of the site. {1}{2}
