A fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform the proposed construction of a new swimming training facility on land at Hoop Lane Farm, Langton by Wragby. Widespread remains of medieval ridge and furrow were identified across the site, as well as a possible curvilinear ditch-like feature at the western edge of the surveyed area. {1} Subsequent trial trenching in this area confirmed the presence of medieval ridge and furrow remains across the site, but found no trace of the possible curvilinear feature (see ELI13425).
