Description

A heritage statement was produced after a site visit and historical research into The Wool Mart and 2 Lee Street, Louth, conducted to inform the proposed demolition of 2 Lee Street and redevelopment of the site. The Wool Mart is a former warehouse, built in 1825 for the Louth Corporation, and now used as an auction house. 2 Lee Street is a later 19th century former house, attached to the south of the Wool Mart. {1}
