Five trial trenches were excavated to inform proposed residential development on land off Mill Lane, Legbourne. A row of 18th and 19th century pits and post holes were recorded adjacent to the former outbuildings at Manor House, with which they were most likely associated. The remains of an undated ditch was also recorded in the southern-most trench. {1}{2}
