Description
A programme of archaeological investigation was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new primary school on land at Elsea Park, Bourne. Further stretches of a previously identified late medieval ditch were recorded, along with two post-medieval probable former field boundary ditches. Redeposited sherds of medieval and post-medieval pottery were recovered, along with an unstratified Bronze Age flint flake. {1}{2}
