Description

An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for residential development on land off High Street, Scampton. A number of undated features, comprising a series of intercutting ditches and the remains of a post trench, were identified along with the remains of a post-medieval wall. A single sherd of redeposited late medieval pottery was also recovered. {1}{2}
