Description
An augering survey was conducted to inform the proposed construction of a wind farm on land at Bishopthorpe Farm, Bishopthorpe, Tetney. Buried land surfaces, glacial till and former palaeochannels were recorded across the site, indicating that this area was very conducive to saltmaking activities. {1}{2}
