Description

A topographic survey was conducted to inform proposed tree planting on land at Long Holt Wood, Potterhanworth Road, Nocton. Low earthwork remains of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded across most of the site, along with the remains of a probable headland at the western edge of the site. Also recorded was the remains of a former field boundary and a number of probable post-medieval mounds and hollows at the southern end of the site. {1}{2}
