Description

An archaeological excavation was undertaken in May 2009 at Norton Bottoms Quarry Extension, Norton Road, Stapleford by Archaeological Project Services. Two Saxon pits which had previously been partially exposed were excavated. An important Anglo-Saxon pottery group was revealed. {1}{2}
