Description

Six trial trenches were excavated on land at Highfield Lane, Wrawby and Bigby in September 2007 by Archaeological Project Services. In the northern field, Romano British ditches and a possible stone structure were revealed. In the southern field, Iron Age features, possibly relating to a circular enclosure and settlement remains were found. {1}{2}
