Full Description

During trial trenching in September 2007 on land at Highfield Lane, Wrawby and Bigby, Archaeological Project Services revealed possible evidence of an Iron Age settlement. In Trench Four, two ditches contained Iron Age pottery and a ditch containing Iron to Age to Romano British pottery [see also PRN 55375] were revealed. Trench Six revealed an undated ditch but it probably relates to this settlement. {1}{2}
