Description
SK 9824-9924 14/104 CORBY GLEN MARKET PLACE Pump G.V. II Water pump. c.1850. Cast iron. Square pump casing with cast iron panels, coved top with fluted knop. On the front an iron spigot with above a shield shaped plaque bearing a griffin. The water supply was improved by W. H. Woodhouse of Irnham Hall, bringing it from a spring to standpipes.
