Description
CORBY GLEN MARKET PLACE SK 9824-9924 14/104 Pump G.V. II Water pump. c.1850. Cast iron. Square pump casing with cast iron panels, coved top with fluted knop. On the front an iron spigot with above a shield shaped plaque bearing a griffin. The water supply was improved by W. H. Woodhouse of Irnham Hall, bringing it from a spring to standpipes.
