Abstract/Summary

Archive for the archaeological watching brief, conducted during groundworks for new drainage at St John the Baptist's Church, Stamford. The monitoring recorded a set of undated steps near to the South Chapel, along with a 19th century brick built tomb and extensive graveyard soils, from which sherds of 17th to 19th century pottery were recovered, along with a few residual sherds of medieval pottery.
