Abstract/Summary

Archive for the archaeological watching brief, conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new bungalow and garage on land at Church End, Wrangle. Late medieval activity was identified, with the remains of a probable pond or dyke and a linear ditch being recorded. The linear feature was seen to re-cut an earlier ditch running along the same east to west alignment, although the exact date of this earlier feature could not be determined. A redeposited Bronze Age flint flake was also recovered from topsoil deposits on the site.
