Archive for the excavation of three trial trenches and a subsequent programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted to inform a improvement scheme to the River Witham, upstream of Colsterworth. An assemblage of late post-medieval and modern artefacts were recovered from topsoil deposits during the trenching, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
