Description
Three trial trenches were excavated to inform a proposed river improvement scheme to the River Witham, upstream of Colsterworth. An assemblage of late post-medieval and modern artefacts were recovered from topsoil deposits, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
