Report on a geophysical survey conducted on land at Anchor Lane, Ingoldmells, to inform the proposed construction of a new housing development. Significant magnetic disturbance associated with the construction of a nearby housing estate was encountered across the site, and a number of palaeochannels or silted former tidal creeks were noted. An area of possible industrial activity was identified at the northern end of one of these channels, and a small grouping of rectilinear and pit-like anomalies was recorded at the northeastern edge of the site.
