Description

The report on a gradiometer survey was undertaken on land at Eastville Road, Toynton St Peter, prior to a proposed development. Several anomalies were noted during the survey, which are thought to relate to recent activities, such as burning or tree planting. Two linear features, measuring approximately 3.5m wide and laying parallel to the northern and western field boundaries, were identified. These anomalies correspond with a trackway identified on a 1614 map of the area.
