Archive for a programme of archaeological evaluation comprising a single trial trench excavated on land to the rear of 54 Bainton Road, Tallington, prior to the construction of a new residential property. The trench exposed a buried soil from which a single sherd of 14th century Bourne D ware pottery was recovered, sealed by a post-Medieval metalled yard surface or trackway. No other archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
