Full Description
Trial trenching in May 2024 on land to the rear of 54 Bainton Road, Tallington, exposed a post-Medieval metalled yard surface or trackway. This may have been associated with the construction or operation of the former Stamford Canal, the route of which passed just to the north of the surface. {1}{2}
