Abstract/Summary
The report on a programme of archaeological trial trenching, undertaken on land adjacent to the Post Office, Silver Street, Waddingham. A single trench was excavated prior to the construction of a dwelling. The trenching revealed two stratigraphic phases of garden and domestic activity at the site, likely dating from the late Medieval to the early modern date. The excavation also uncovered an assemblage of finds from the trench. Several sherds of pottery, dating from the post-medieval to early modern period, were also recovered.
